DAy 7 CAS

I got home late from work so I'm only doing the first card for today. Simple white cards were the plan for the day. I think they are quite lovely and elegant! Here is my version.

Day 6 of CAS card making

Simple embellishments was the topic today. Using one simple embellishment rather than making a "busy" card with too much going on. Subtle and sweet. The sentiment is on the inside with subtle watermark look on front using versamark ink and a French Script background stamp from Stampin' Up.

CAS Day 5....catching up

I'll be going back to do day 3 and 4 but wanted to play with the watercolor technique so badly I just couldn't wait!

DAY 2 CAS cards

This first card really needs bigger stamps but I'm using what I have on hand. I DO like the look of it though!
The second card required cutting out masking which made me feel like a kindergarten failure :-) I think it is a fantastic technique. I am learning so much and love the inspiration I'm getting from other class participants.
Building up the layers of card stock with die cuts...who knew it could look so cool? I embossed my last layer of the butterfly just to add a little different dimension. Can't wait to see what they've got in store for us next!

first clean and simple card....first blog....ever!

Just finished the first day's card....I did two versions. Great ideas and video from K. Werner. Thank you! Now I've got to get way more organized and learn to list what supplies I used.
